Description: 

Long exposure photography introduces a new element to a scene. It changes what you can see with the naked eye into textures and colors that you didn't notice were there. On this cloudy day with seemingly not much to photograph, I was excited to see that the long exposure picture really brought out the color in the water and the darkness of the clouds to contrast the bright white of the lighthouse.
