Art has always been the constant in my life while everything else changes. Art has been my means of expression, like a true friend and companion , it responds and reflects the moment.
As a kid in primary school I discovered a love of painting by painting Christmas scenes on the class windows. Later in life, my art education consisted of spending time in museums viewing all the different art styles. Eventually I joined an art class and was soon invited to instruct Community Education classes in Douglas county. During the next 14 years I taught classes in oils, pastels, and acrylics. I exhibited in many shows and became a Signature member of the Pastel Society of Oregon,winning many awards.
