Langlois-based artist and sculptor Bennett Gregory draws inspiration from nature’s colors, music, skies, and beauty to create soulful works of art. “My paintings come from my soul. Sometimes I feel that I am just a medium to put it on a canvas,” he says.
Originally from Michigan and previously based in Texas, Bennett brings over 43 years of experience in construction and the tree farming industry. During his career, he has planted thousands of trees and developed unique stone creations, gardens, and custom homes.
Together with his wife, Dace, Bennett is cultivating a botanical garden on their mountain property, filled with orchids, rhododendrons, roses, and other vibrant blooms. This magical space will feature an gallery, music venue, sculpture garden, and amphitheater, blending nature and art.
Bennett believes in the guiding power of creativity, noting, “With creativity, if we take time to stop and listen, it will always guide you in the right direction.”
