Spending the last 12 years as a stock and travel photographer, Charles has learned a lot about the technical aspects of photography and capturing light. About 5 years ago he decided to focus on improving his landscape and wildlife photography. Nature photography and landscapes are incredibly difficult genres by the way(!), but at the same time they can be very rewarding.
In 2020, he decided it was time to share his adventures and stories with anyone interested in photography, so he started a YouTube Channel called "Wollertz Photography". Many of the images found here have a YouTube video with the story and the experience that led to creating the final photograph. He's selected these images to represent not only his work but also his favorite parts of the Western United States. He says: "As the West is vast, I know I have a lot more to see and experience.
