Plans and Pricing

We believe talented artists deserve professional representation — without financial barriers that put it out of reach. Our three service tiers are designed to meet you where you are in your career and grow with you as your work does.

Our pricing structure is based on a monthly retainer that gives you access to the entire Nicart collector database, our regional gallery network, and the industry knowledge and connections we've built across the greater Oregon art market. This is your contribution to the partnership you're building with our agency — and we take that partnership seriously. We are committed to building your career and setting you on a path toward your own definition of success.

Your monthly retainer is applied as a credit against your commission balance at the end of each month — so when your work is selling, your representation is essentially paying for itself. If no sales are recorded in a given month, your retainer automatically adjusts to the Foundation rate of $100, regardless of your signed tier, and returns to your contracted tier the moment an active sale is recorded. Commission on gallery-placed sales applies at all tiers and is outlined in your representation agreement.

Tier 1 - Foundation - $100/month

The Foundation tier is your professional starting point. It gives you immediate access to the Nicart promotional ecosystem and a complete collector management system — infrastructure most independent artists cannot build or maintain on their own, actively working on your behalf every month.

Artist Onboarding Package — $150 (one-time)

Before your first month of representation begins, we build out your complete Nicart presence from the ground up. Your Artist Onboarding Package includes:

Detailed artist bio page on nicartgallery.com
Individual web pages for each piece of art you choose to list — up to 20 pieces — including image, title, medium, dimensions, and price
Individual QR codes for every listed piece, print-ready for use at shows, open studios, and events
A dedicated social media post for every available piece, with direct purchase links
Credit card processing setup for all transactions — online and in-gallery

This is a one-time setup fee, separate from your monthly retainer. It covers the actual build-out work required to get you fully launched in the Nicart system. For our first 10 founding artists, the Artist Onboarding Package (valued at $150) is complimentary — our investment in the partnership we're building together.

What's included monthly for Tier 1::

A one-time featured introduction article in On View, Nicart's monthly newsletter reaching 5,000+ collectors, gallery contacts, and art enthusiasts across the region
Permanent monthly presence in every On View issue for the duration of your representation
Complete collector records for every sale through a Nicart-managed channel — documented and yours to keep
Personal thank you outreach to every collector, sent on your behalf within 48 hours of each confirmed sale
New work notifications to your existing collectors and relevant contacts in the Nicart database when you deliver new inventory
Collector anniversary outreach — a warm touchpoint sent on your behalf on the one-year anniversary of each collector's purchase
Monthly activity summary so you always know exactly what's happening on your behalf

Tier 2 - Active Representation - $250/month

Active Representation is where strategy becomes action. Everything in Tier 1 continues at full delivery — and your agent's active labor begins on top of it. Gallery placement, credential development, and the relationship management that turns a single consignment into a sustained gallery presence are all Tier 2 work. Every deliverable is documented, and you can request the full activity log at any time.

What's included:

Everything in Tier 1
A Strategic Partnership Plan — developed together before any gallery outreach begins; a working document that defines your current position, your goals, your target galleries, and the benchmarks that make progress visible
Up to 3 new gallery approaches per month — each researched, personally contacted, and fully documented
Bi-monthly check-ins with every gallery where your work is on active consignment, logged and available to you on request
Collector records expanded to include gallery-placed sales — every buyer, every sale, building your audience with every placement
New work notifications to gallery directors currently representing your work
A rolling 90-day juried show and opportunity calendar, tailored to your medium, career stage, and target markets
Quarterly 30-minute strategy call with your agent, with a written summary after each session
Social cross-promotion on Nicart's channels a minimum of twice per month
Expanded monthly activity report — a full account of every action taken on your behalf

Tier 3 - Full Service - $400/month

Full Service is for artists actively building toward regional and national recognition — with a body of work ready for aggressive placement, the career momentum to support multiple simultaneous gallery relationships across more than one market, and the commitment to invest seriously in their own growth. At this tier your agent is not supplementing your career. They are running it alongside you.

What's included:

Everything in Tiers 1 and 2
5 or more new gallery approaches per month — across Oregon and interstate destination markets including the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, and mountain west art markets
Priority consideration when new gallery relationships open up in the Nicart network
Full coordination of interstate and multi-regional gallery relationships across every market your work touches simultaneously
Nationally ranked show and major art fair strategy — application research, submission coordination, and logistics management included
Reception and event coordination for any Nicart-produced touring reception on your behalf — included in your retainer, not billed separately
Press and PR submissions to up to 2 editorial, grant, or recognition opportunities per month
Extended quarterly strategy call with full written summary
Comprehensive monthly written activity report — every gallery approach, every market, every outcome, every action taken on your behalf that month

A note on commission: All representation tiers include a commission on sales generated through placements your agent secures and manages. Full details on commission structure and the slow-period adjustment policy are outlined in your representation agreement.
